Service is at the heart of a follower of Jesus. We believe that what we do within the walls of the church is practice for what we do outside—in our homes, communities, schools, and jobs.
Opportunities to Jump In and Serve
You can serve in more than one area! Explore the different ways you can use your gifts and talents:
- Prayer Team (Melissa Crawford)
- Join the prayer team for Sunday services, pray for people within the church, and participate in the prayer chain.
- First Touch Ministry (Jennifer and Doug Brown)
- Serve as a greeter, help with communion, hospitality, and guest services.
- Next Gen Ministry (Chris Leon)
- Opportunities to lead student groups, provide meals for groups, teach elementary students, assist as a 345 Night Leader, or help in the preschool (holding babies or teaching preschoolers).
- Worship Team (Sue Radacosky)
- Vocalists, musicians, audio/video techs, and ProPresenter operators and creators are needed.
- Food Ministry (Marcelino and Melissa Morquecho)
- Help coordinate or prepare meals for church events, such as Starting Point and training events.
- Events Team (Kim and Ken Myers)
- Assist with planning and leading big events. If you have organizational skills, experience with social media, or enjoy working with people, this is for you.
- Mexico Mission (Reid and Talitha Martin)
- Next trip is November 1-3. Cost: $180 for the weekend.
- Care Coordinators & Fellowship Meal Groups (Karla Hyde)
- Care for 5-6 families by checking in every two weeks to see how they are doing.
- Lead a Family Fellowship Meals Group. (or join one)
- COH Board
- Ask questions, and learn more about the leadership at COH. (Tim Cheatham)
- Local Missions and Outreach (Seeking a Leader) email us (info@cohmarmicopa.com)
- Help lead local outreach projects like Church Left the Building, Project Angel Tree, partnering with FOR, Women’s Hope Center, YANA, and outreach to local schools.
